GD-1622a    Tremolite pseudomorph after Diopside   Pierrepont, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected by Michael Walter, 2023.  This piece is composed of a grayish green crystal that measures 2.6 x 1.6 x 1.6 cm overall.  It is an unusual example composed of tiny prismatic crystals which formed during retrograde metamorphism and replaced a slightly curved diopside crystal.  These are not uncommon at this locality.   $35
