Stak Nala, Gilgit-Skardu Road, Northern Areas, Pakistan.  There are lots of Stak Nala tourmalines around... not many like this one!  This example measures 7.5 x 3.7 x 3 cm.  It is a damage-free floater with two prismatic, long (6.5 and 5.3 cm10 day, strongly hemimorphic tourmalines.  There are also a couple pink fluorapatites but they are not that aesthetic... the tourmalines however, are.  Very high lusters, nicely striatins, pleasingly colors and attractive terminations, all help this piece rise to a level of beauty.  The feldspars are translucent an crude in form (somewhat rounded crystals).  Comes with a custom engraved acrylic base.  This is a superior example for the locality.  $5,500
