Strontianite pseudo. after Celestine     Maumee Quarry, Lime City, Wood County, Ohio.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  Previously Ward's.  This is actually the nicest thumbnail sized specimen of this material that I have seen.  It measures 3.5 x 2.5 x 1.7 cm and is complete and damage-free all around.  Unlike most of these there are no strong edge contacts that distract viewing and no damages.  It has an attract attractive, diverging display of the crystals.  They have the classic look expected but none of the problems that almost any of these are plagued with.  $250
