Sphalerite and Quartz    Empire State mine, Level 3,874, Mud Pond ore body, Balmat, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected 2019.  This cluster is composed of gemmy, dark amber colored crystals to 2 cm each.  It measures 3.8 x 3.2 x 2.3 cm overall. One very small rub.  One edge shows heavy contact but the piece stands nicely on this edge.  This is very desirable and rare Balmat material.  $500
