Sphalerite   Empire State Mine, Level 3,861, Balmat, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected 2023.  This is a fairly large grouping of true yellow sphalerite crystals measuring 6.4 x 3.8 x 2.5 cm.  The individual crystals approach 2 cm in size.  Some are sharp, some are crude in form.  No damage to main face crystals, Contacts along edges.  Very tiny black crystals on back appear to be magnetite.  Fluorescent in short, mid and long wave ultraviolet light.  $450
