Schorl on Feldspar   Nyet. Braldu Valley, Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan. I find this specimen to be extremely aesthetic for a number of reasons: the color contrast and luster are obvious…less obvious are the several forms of terminations some of which are crude, some fibrous, some crisp and clean. The piece has superb balance in form. There may be a couple of terminations on small crystals with damage but I think these are all actually natural terminations, just poor ones.
