Scapolite    Bear Lake, Litchfield Township, Pontiac Co., Québec, Canada. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection. This specimen is a 5.2 cm group of three parallel growth scapolite crystals which are more translucent than normal. There is an opaque, slightly greenish overgrowth of another mineral covering some regions of the piece. The specimen is quite sharp in its form and more lustrous than most Canadian scapolites.
