Rhodochrosite    Sta Rita Mine, Peru.  Attractive pink 7.8 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm plate of crystals.  They are large, up to 2 cm each, and have a stepped growth effect.  No damage.  Luster varies due to an overgrowth of an unknown mineral which is white/ tan in color.  Not a considerably bright rhodo but a very substantial one.  $750
