Dibble collection.  FIGURED SPECIMEN from the book, Quartz: An Introduction to Crystalline Quartz, page 80 by Harold Dibble.  This is a complex shard from a very large crystal showing parallel growth of surface features.  Damage-free floater.  Interesting to look at and much of it is clear with a slight smoky tint.  Glassier looking than the photos seem to indicate.  9.1 x 5.1 x 1.3 cm.  I can provide a copy of the book for an additional $20.     $225
