Pyrite    La Libertad Mine, Quiruvica Dept., Santiago de Chuco Prov., Peru.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This large single crystal measures 9.3 x 8.6 x 5.2 cm.  It is a modified octahedron with stepped faces.  The luster is high and the form is very sharp.  There is minor sphalerite along one edge of the specimen.  No damage.  Very nice in-hand.   $90
