Magnetite    El Laco, Antofagasta Region, Chili.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  Previous Canadian Museum of Nature specimen.  An aggregate of octahedral with individual crystals to 1.6 cm each.  Some are quite sharp while others are crude in form.  The cluster measures 7.9 x 5.2 x 3.2 cm.  It is a metallic rust color and has a low luster.  It is an interesting specimen to view and has an odd locale and nice provenance.  95$
