Galena and Sphalerite     Dal’negorsk, Kavalerovo Mining District, Priorskiy Kray, Far-Eastern Region, Russia.  A 7.4 x 5.7 x 3.7 cm piece with well-formed crystals of both species.  The galenas are cuboctahedral in form, have nice patinas and very nice growth hillocks and spiraled surface features as can be seen in the close-up images.  Really very interesting things here.  The sphalerite is lustrous and beautifully formed with plenty of twins.  No damage, minor edge contact, better in-hand.  Minor quartz and pyrite accessories.  $150
