Exogenic Fulgurite Oswego, Oswego County, New York. From lighting strike on August 2, 2008, ref. Rocks and Minerals magazine, May/ June 2011 issue, vol. 86, no.3, p. 264-270. Collected by Joeseph, Jonah, Arlo, and Jeffery Shallit. A 5.6 cm filament with droplets to .4 cm attached. One end is not terminated. Lustrous and with one side showing light soil adhesions indicating it landed on that side while still slightly molten. No damage but, again, one filament is not terminated.
