Dioptase on Smithsonite with Cerussite Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region, Namibia, South West Africa. Ex. Thomas G. Fowler collection. 5.6 x 4.2 x 3.5 cm with crystals to over 1 cm each. A well formed cerussite crystal can be found on the upper or side, of the backside of the specimen. It is gemmy and damage free. There are the usual edge contacts in places but the only damage is near the lower edge with one partially crushed area on a crystal and a chip on a crystal at top. Overall, these are large gemmy crystals in great condition in a showy arrangement on smithsonite. There are a few spots showing minor clusters of smithsonite crystals on the dioptase. A great piece of this rare material. $1,950
