Cerussite     Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia.  Cut by Jay Medici from a broken crystal from the Harold L. Dibble collection.  This very large cerussite weighs in at 71.31 carats.  It is water clear and is a show stopper!  It is beautifully faceted by master cutter Jay Medici.  It is not flawless having a small internal crack along its edge.  This does not distract from the beauty of this unusual gemstone.  Its high refractive index gives it lots of "bling" and the fact that this large a cerussite gemstone even exists is quite amazing.  It is priced under $35 per carat for $2,450
