Calcite on Strontianite and Fluorite    Minerva #1 Mine, Cave-In-Rock, Illinois.  Ex. Harold L. Dibble collection.  A fine example of these species...damage-free calcites sitting up high on strontianite crystals and a few small fluorites.  Numerous strontianite needles are clipped, they are of course quite fragile, but everything else is in great condition.  Fluorites are complete.  5.5 x 5.5 x 4.9 cm.
