Calcite with Hematite inclusions      Leiping Mine, Leiping, Guiyang County, Chenzhou Prefecture, Hunan Province, China.  This is the original find that produced these well know "Butterfly" twins over a decade ago.  This one is really are something to behold, I think more interesting and aesthetic than any I have owned thoughout the years including the most recently discovered material (2019).  This example measures 7 x 6 x 4 cm.  It has numerous, showy, exceptionally lustrous, complete twins which stand up high off of the matrix.  This is a top shelf example with only the large base crystal (untwinned) showing a tip cleave.  Most would consider this crystal part of the matrix as the best twins stand up of of it.  The matrix is float, with no points of attachment.  A fantastic mineral specimen that also comes with a custom engraved acrylic base.  $1,750
