Albite and Rhodochrosite    Poudrette Quarry, Mt. St. Hilaire, Québec, Canada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection.  This tabular, doubly-terminated feldspar measures 3.2 x 2.8 x 1.2 cm.  The albite crystal is white with fibrous terminations.  There is a small sphere of light pink rhodochrosite on one termination.  The crystal appears to be a twin (likely Carlsbad) but the fibrous terminations make it difficult to tell for sure.    $50
