2020 Update

 

This locality is on an undisclosed area of private land in the township of Rossie, St. Lawrence County, New York.  It was discovered in 2018 by myself while prospecting.  The find was a single pocket occurence that yielded some of the finest open pocket graphite crystals known.  Many of the crystals were exceptionally large, up to 8 cm in diameter, and they showed interesting snowflake like surface growth patterns.  Some of the best example are shown here.
